Molly M. Olson
Founder + CFO
Principal Architect [CA 34202, NV 6116, HI 12858]
Mother of Three
Molly’s pragmatic and creative natures were apparent even as a child. She reveled in the opportunity to listen in on zoning hearings or business negotiations with her contractor father, fervently pursued her academic studies, and thoroughly enjoyed many creative outlets (including building her own “projects” from scrap wood, embroidery, drawing, and continually redesigning her bedrooms).
After completing her freshman year as a business major at Pepperdine University Molly found herself longing for a creative outlet in her university studies. Her transfer to the University of Southern California and enrollment in the School of Architecture proved to equally engage her pragmatic and creative natures.
She graduated with Cum Laude honors as a recipient of several awards including the publishing and exhibition of her thesis.
Her professional career has ranged from large scale industrial, commercial, and retail projects to high-end residential projects throughout California. While Molly has enjoyed these varied projects, her current focus on residential architecture in a setting as unique as the Tahoe basin represents her life’s passion, marrying the practical with the creative.
Fueled by the enthusiasm of the team she and Robb have assembled at OOA Molly hopes to launch the business into new territory in the future by pursuing General Contractor Licenses in Nevada and California and a California Real Estate Broker’s License.
Hobbies: Molly enjoys all that her native Tahoe has to offer, especially alpine skiing and water sports. While she has enjoyed travel to exotic destinations such as Sri Lanka her travels to the library and into the forest with her children have proved equally engaging and inspiring.
