ALPINE MEADOWS, CALIFORNIA

Identified as the “Ski Lodge” in its 1964 architectural drawings, the property was transformed in 2007 into a one-of-a-kind mountain retreat reminiscent of its original spirit yet perfectly suited for generations of enjoyment.

Every square inch of the property was attentively designed and detailed to maximize usable space, storage, views and exterior access. Antique or bespoke furnishings and accessories directly from or harking back to the home’s original era are featured prominently throughout.  Custom, built-in “half” pocket doors limit children’s movement in the home.

Each bedroom features a private bath, views of the garden or surrounding meadow, and textiles sourced from Scandinavia, Mexico, and Sri Lanka.

A revolving collection of Art by Robb Olson completes this seamlessly orchestrated home.
